St. Benedictus Polyclinic has served Jerusalem’s most vulnerable residents for generations — providing primary and specialist medical care, physiotherapy, daily meals, and human connection to those who might otherwise go without.
A Place Where No One Is Turned Away
St. Benedictus Polyclinic is one of the Myrrh Bearers Society’s founding commitments made real. From our earliest days, we recognized that the most marginalized members of Palestinian society — the elderly, the poor, those without family support — had limited or no access to adequate medical care. St. Benedictus was built to change that.
We provide primary and curative medical care to those who need it most: elderly residents who cannot easily travel across Jerusalem, individuals without the means to access private healthcare, and families who simply need a place they can trust. Our care is holistic — because we have always understood that health is not only physical. Companionship is medicine. A warm meal is medicine. Being seen is medicine.
Our multidisciplinary team offers general medical consultations, specialist referrals, dental services, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, prepared nutritious meals, and social support — all under one roof, in a center that has carried this mission since 1926.

Every service we provide at St. Benedictus can be sponsored directly. Your contribution does not go into a general fund — it goes to a specific program, for a specific person, with a specific impact. Whether you are an individual, a family honoring a loved one's memory, a faith community, or a corporate partner, you can choose exactly where your support lands.
Sponsor a Meal
Ensure an elderly patient receives a hot, nutritious, traditionally prepared meal. For many patients, this is the only full meal of their day — and the only human contact. A small act with profound meaning.
Sponsor Companionship
Fund regular companionship visits and social support for isolated elderly patients who live alone. Loneliness is a health crisis — your sponsorship addresses it directly.
Sponsor Physiotherapy
Enable a full course of physiotherapy for an elderly patient recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Restoring mobility restores independence — and dignity.
